We seek a qualified Recruiter in Virginia Beach, VA, or remote.

Position Description:

The Mid-Level Recruiter will work with the hiring managers to fill the organization's staffing needs. The new team member will work with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to execute recruiting strategies to deliver suitable job candidates for assigned positions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pipeline
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings
• Manage the interview, selection, and closing process
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done by employment laws and regulations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-7 years of recruiting experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
• Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
• Familiar with Navy Transition Programs is helpful
• Prior military experience is helpful

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum High School Diploma required
