JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Recruiter

Reports to: Director of Human Resources Services

Status: Full-time


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:

  • Develop, monitor, and alter talent acquisition strategies for the entire organization.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure appropriate staffing levels are consistently maintained.
  • Primary resource for new employee onboarding as well as employee training compliance within the organization.
  • System administration of appropriate HRM applications.
  • Research, incorporate, monitor, and adjust new talent acquisition programs and partnerships.
  • Primary resource for recruitment events and public human resource acquisition engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to:

  • Monitor and report on all staffing needs within the organization.
  • Collaborate with management to fill opportunities in an effective and efficient way.
  • Develop, monitor, and alter talent acquisition strategies to ensure management is obtaining the best candidates possible.
  • Assist in candidate hiring and screening processes.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of orientation and training plans.
  • Coordinate with the staff of the Human Resources Department.
  • Primary administrator of talent acquisition, onboarding, and training HRM applications.
  • Work with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation is implemented for all new hires.
  • Ensure compliance of internal and external policies, strategies and regulations related to talent acquisition, onboarding, and training initiatives, processes, and tasks.
  • Develop and submit reports regarding various staffing tasks.
  • Maintain continuous education of relevant talent acquisition strategies and structures.
  • Travel required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to:

  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Proven 2+ years of work experience as an administrative professional in the Human Resources Department.
  • Professional certification of ASA credentials are preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of staffing policies, strategies, and best practices.
  • Experience in planning and executing recruiting strategies utilizing a variety of platforms and methods.
  • Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of the bureau of labor statistics.
  • Ability to administrate Human Resource applications related to staffing and training.
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
