What You’ll Do:
As a Velocity recruiter you will be responsible for partnering closely with multiple stakeholders to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for our various business demands. Responsibilities also include tracking recruiting metrics, building innovative sourcing strategies led by data and market intelligence, lead a selection process with an emphasis on DE&I best practices, elevate employer branding initiatives and partner closely with colleagues and key stakeholders through the hiring journey.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or Human Resources field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of related recruiting experience required, technical roles experience a plus
- Minimum 3 years full life-cycle hiring experience, preferably within an in-house recruitment team
- Recruiting for all levels of talent, recruiting for warehouse and heavy-duty diesel technicians is preferred, automotive/truck industry a plus
- Experience closing candidates and negotiating complex compensation packages
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, candidates, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to identify and leverage data to drive and influence decisions (Must be proficient in Excel)
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced and complex international organization
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, review job descriptions for vacancies
- Manage stakeholder relationships including HR, hiring managers, and external partners
- Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to create accurate data/metrics reports based on recruitment activities and focused on solutions
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions
- Attract and identify strong candidates through online channels and other creative sources: job boards, internal databases, forums, in-person networking events, local social platforms, and professional networks across multiple regions/time zones.
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
- Full Cycle Recruitment
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
- Gathers and analyzes recruitment metrics for assigned client groups with an end goal of continuous improvement and real-time application of recruiting efficacy
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booths at job fairs
