Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
This position will be located in Western Kansas but will require frequent travel, including overnights.

This is a full-time exempt position with earning potential of $75,000+/year DOE and a company vehicle.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for implementing and managing talent acquisition strategies to source and evaluate talent for potential opportunities within our organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and execute strategy to position the organization as a preferred employer.
  • Proactively build and maintain a quality talent pipeline of both passive and active candidates.
  • Provide support in strategizing current and future workforce needs.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate sources and methods to attract and recruit diverse quality talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, associations, and advertising media/job boards.
  • Manage recruitment for ag tech student sponsorship / registered apprenticeship program.
  • Manage recruitment-to-hire process via company ATS and train others on its use.
  • Assist with developing job descriptions for advertising and posting.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screening interviews, evaluate assessment results, and help to assess and rank prospective talent to identify placement and fit.
  • Attend and coordinate participation in career fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Attend signing days, graduations, school advisory board meetings, and similar events.
  • Act as liaison between students, dealership locations, parents, and schools.
  • Provide professional, courteous service and present a positive, professional image of the company.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations of the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ agriculture experience.
  • Strong interpersonal/customer-service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people.
  • ATS experience preferred; Paycor/Newton experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
  • Flexibility to travel with frequent overnights.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance. Position also requires driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, speaking, and seeing.
