Responsibilities:
This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.


Summary:

This position is located in the Central Region. The ideal candidates have demonstrated successful selling within PTVE or relevant industry experience to foodservice, redistribution, wholesale and retail customers. The candidates will work remotely and travel to support customer needs and selling opportunities.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop deep relationships within assigned customer region/markets/branches.
  • Responsible for achieving sales target volume/revenue and driving profitable business growth.
  • Weekly responsibility to provide sales updates and activity through CRM.
  • Apply Axiom selling principles through the sales process.
  • Assist in the management of customer relationships by working closely with all functional departments (Planning, Forecasting, Marketing, Quality, Customer Service and others).
  • Work closely with customer locations to secure accurate demand forecast projections.
  • Ensures that all service and quality issues are dealt with promptly and thoroughly.
  • Performs field promotion work and development of new accounts to include Foodservice and Food Merchandising opportunities.
  • Analyzes and interprets accounts, sales, costs and trends to move the business forward.
  • Exhibit energy and strong work ethic to drive effectiveness across the organization, foster teamwork, earn trust of co-workers, and put organization above self-interests.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree preferred plus a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling Foodservice, Redistribution, Wholesale or Retail accounts.
  • High proficiency in Business Warehouse, PROS, SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to travel frequently (30-40%) including some overnight travel.


Preferred Skills:

  • Individual with a strong history for developing sales growth plans and meeting or exceeding those plans.
  • Proven ability to hunt, grow and maintain relationships.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, focus on business critical missions by market.
  • Demonstrated skills and attributes include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).
  • Ability to function independently.
