Regional Director, Human Resources
At Villa Healthcare we make people better and we have an opportunity for a Regional Director of Human Resources to oversee regional HR functions for Villa Healthcare
- Must be willing to travel to Traverse City, MI, Petoskey, MI, Rose City, MI, West Branch, MI, Monthly and to Southfield, MI and Metro Detroit weekly.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Partner with the Facility Leadership on employee onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee and support facility HR Managers for the region
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting people operations functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Oversee payroll processes at the regional level for communities (assist and train as needed and act as back up)
- Respond to HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Support other functions as assigned
Skills
- Proven leadership experience as an HR Director or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Paycor experience (preferred)
- Ability to work with ATS software
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- HIPPA/Data compliancy
- Extensive payroll experience
- Good organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- 8+ years LTC HR experience
- Willing to travel/assist regional Michigan facilities
- Payroll experience
