We are currently seeking a Regional Service Operations Manager in our Pine Brook, NJ location for our Northeast Region.

This position will play a key role in planning and executing the strategic direction of the Service business in the region. You will be responsible for managing the dynamic world of Service operations, striving to understand the needs and expectations of our customers, increase collaboration and create synergies between the various regional teams. You will be responsible to establish key action plans to drive operational excellence, keep variance under control and increase utilization while conducting capacity planning for future business growth.


Essential Duties:

  • Implement strategic plans to drive and exceed establish goals.
  • Provide leadership, supervision and develop the team of Service Managers and Service Organization in the region.
  • Report on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.
  • Facilitate the creation of a collaborative team environment for operational roles and otherwise.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, arrange safety training for Service Technicians and ensure compliance with all safety procedures mandated by regulatory agencies and customers.
  • Prepare related business development reports and conduct/present relevant market analysis.
  • Control expenses while maximizing Company assets, time, skills, and profit levels.
  • Review business development strategies on a regular basis and recommend modifications and enhancements that will secure sales goals in line with growth targets.
  • Develop and implement cradle to grave processes in Service Planning utilizing standard tools
  • Manage MAM support and focus on continuous data cleansing with a particular focus on data quality.
  • Manage resources to ensure financial and WIP targets in the region are met.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication with regional Sales Managers, other regional aftermarket managers and the VP of Aftermarket.
  • Monitor compliance with internal rules, specifically ensuring alignment of all regional service operations to other regional and national service operations.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and develop a support organization that can address customer service issues to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Experience & Education
  • A bachelor’s degree is desirable, in either management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization. Closely related experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Substantial related industry experience.
  • Knowledge of service products and services, safety practices and OSHA procedures, as well as experience in managing a remote workforce are required.
  • Be willing to develop yourself by learning new skills and increasing your knowledge of products, systems and the company’s market and operation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages to stakeholders at different levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Local and occasional international travel may be required.
