Baystate Medical Center Nurse Managers perform an important role providing care to our patients. They are responsible for clinical practice and quality outcomes, human resource leadership, management of the patient care environment, financial growth and stewardship and operational planning. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• Our Neuroscience's unit consists of 46 beds and 110 FTEs

• We provide comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, brain injury, brain tumors, spinal injury, and spine tumors.

• The Neuroscience's unit operates as a true team and there is always somebody to assist you when necessary!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN Required

• Experience: At least five years RN experience in related field required, supervisor/leadership experience preferred.

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Current American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider certification required.
