Position Description:
This part-time position will be supporting a new Department of Medicine initiative to lead and coordinate outreach and screening events for the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, and Environmental Health Institute.� These events will screen patients for 10-year risk of heart attack, stroke, or cardiac death utilizing the ACC/AHA Risk Calculator.� This position will require travel and work outside of standard business hours to lead screening events around the city at locations such as churches, community events, local festivals/fairs, and athletic venues.�

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for de-identified patient data entry into Excel spreadsheets for data analysis
- Coordinate scheduling of event screening staff including doctors, nurses, and volunteers
- Maintain equipment and supplies for outreach and screening events.
- Collaborate with medical practices to refer screened patients to appropriate clinics for full evaluation and treatment.
- Plan, organize, and attend events in conjunction with Department of Medicine and UofL Health partners.
- Train volunteers that will assist with events.
- Follow brand standards to work with UofL Health and the UofL Office of Communication and Marketing to create promotional materials for outreach and events.
- Work with stakeholders to create and maintain a program budget for the initiative and each individual event.
- Communicate with stakeholders and other entities on the progress of the initiative and outcomes from events.
- Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
