Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a Residential Assistant (RA) for 2nd & 3rd shift at our Matt Talbot Residential Recovery site in Parma, Ohio. RAs work as part of a treatment team to facilitate daily living activities in support of clients' recovery journey. RAs work to ensure clients' safety, model, and promote positive recovery behaviors. May provide transportation to appointments or 12-step meetings.

24/7 facility with multiple shifts and weekends available!

*One free meal per shift.

Program Statement: Matt Talbot is a Residential Treatment program for adults who are struggling with addiction and may have a co-occurring mental health condition. Our program services offer a holistic approach to treatment and recovery with a client-centered focus.

What you will do:

• Help clients in their journey through recovery. You are a positive role model with a caring attitude and a strong belief that people can change.
• Have a servant's heart and empathetic spirit. You have the ability to see the best in each person and are able to maintain a cool head in tense situations. You can maintain a safe environment that promotes recovery and can use problem-solving skills to maintain professional and respectful boundaries.
• Accompany clients through recovery activities. You will interact with clients in a variety of ways throughout their day - from meals to free time, recreation and pro-social activities, and transportation to appointments and 12-step meetings in company vehicles.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
