Full Job Description- Residential supervisor

Salary: $22-24/hour

Daily life: Manage the interdisciplinary team providing residential supports for students to promote a positive, healthy and safe living environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services/related field or 5 years of experience working in residential treatment
• At least one year residential supervision required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check
• Strong communication skills
• Strong behavior management skills
• Ability to physically intervene if client poses risk to themselves or others

Responsibilities

• Help run programs and groups with youth with support of direct care staff and residential supervisor
• Mentor and support program staff
• Establishing consistent routines related to ADL’S, physical fitness, and community
• Work with interdisciplinary care team to support behavior management of students
• Implement crisis prevention in times of youth escalation
• Support youth communication
• Participate and supervise youth activities
• Encourage therapeutic communication of youth
