Restaurant Manager: St. George's Golf and Country Club is a private, cutting-edge facility with the history, character, and atmosphere envied by other courses in the United States. The Club’s Restaurant Manager will be an example of excellent hospitality and service, while advancing the education and performance of our staff. This position will manage all operations of the Club’s dining facilities and ensure each shift is run effectively with optimal operational excellence and genuine hospitality.

Salary: $65,000 + a year (commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Full-time. Weekend and evening shifts

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Welcome members and their guests as they enter the restaurant
• Develops interesting ways of promoting club functions
• Lead staff in providing the highest quality and efficient service
• Participate in the hiring, development and retention of staff
• Effectively communicate with members and staff
• Schedule all bartenders, servers and bussers
• Participate in performance reviews
• Comply with all food safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years previous as a Restaurant or F&B Manager
• Professional knowledge of cooking standards and foods
• Must be computer literate with expertise in POS functions; Jonas Encore a plus
• Excellent professional and verbal interpersonal skills
• Experience with recruitment, selection and training
• 4-year college degree preferred
• Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
• Frequent bending and stooping required
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to read and write English
