POSITION TITLE: Fit Expert
PAY RANGE: $16.50-21.50/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fit Specialists connect with team, customer, and community to encourage an active lifestyle. As a product expert, you enhance the customer experience and meet sales targets by sharing your knowledge.
Reporting:
- Reports directly to Floor Manager and Assistant Managers
Position Expectations:
- Acknowledges that the Number One priority is the customer who just walked in the door or the customer who decides they are ready to be helped.
- Ensures that store’s Customer Experience meets the highest standards.
- Greets customers.
- Determines customer needs with relevant questions while maintaining a friendly conversation.
- Assists customers in finding and purchasing equipment to meet active lifestyle current needs and possible future needs.
- Shares product knowledge and continues to gain expertise in Footwear, Apparel and Accessory departments.
- Thanks the customer for shopping at their local running shop.
- Uses good judgement in all situations.
Operational Expectations:
- Has ability to operate POS system including Processing exchanges & returns.
- Executing Special Order process
- Assist with pricing, markdowns, and rolling inventory.
- Maintaining visual presentation of store
- Effectively work with 1-2 Footwear customers at once
- Collaborates with Team to achieve Customer Experience
- Ensures that store’s Customer Experience meets the highest standards.
- Adhere to scheduling requirements.
- Minimizes personal footprint by restocking product from customer interactions.
- Identifies daily checklist priorities and needs.
- Maintain and embody store culture: Service & Quality, Innovation, Community, Teamwork with a servant heart.
- Use good judgement in all situations.
Measures of Performance:
- Achieves UPT Target of 2.6+
- Achieves Sock-to-Footwear Ratio: 120%+
- Achieves Insole-to-Footwear Ratio: 20%+
- Achieves Apparel-to-Footwear Ratio: 20%+
