About the role:

This team makes sure we provide a great experience to our customers assisting them with returns, issuing refunds, and identifying issues with returns. We believe in customer satisfaction so we are looking for attention to detail and sharpness.

Some of the tasks performed in this position include:

RMA Processing:

• Track down orders and analyze the reason for customer returns.
• Evaluate product and document details about the items specific to customer returns.
• Understand the details of each individual marketplace and the varying nature of returns in each.
• Evaluate the reason for the customer return and establish a resolution.
• Receive devices back into the company system to ensure accurate inventory.
• Transfer items to the appropriate location based upon device, condition, and ability to be sold.

RMA Checking:

• Handle one on one the receiving of returns from the carriers.
• Document return tracking information.
• Open packages and evaluate the condition of each item that is sent back by customers.
• Relay the condition of items and any necessary information to the processing team in a clear and effective method.
• Restore devices to their factory settings and ensure they are able to be processed - additionally, make note of any discrepancies.
• Send returned items to the appropriate location within the department in order to be processed.
• Handle outgoing transfers and ensure items are being shipped to the correct location.

You will bring:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Six months or more of customer service experience
• Ability to type 40 words per minute
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to perform your tasks while standing for the majority of the shift.
• Proficiency with Gmail, Excel, and relevant software
• Experience with CRM is a plus!
• Candidates with a background in mobile devices are strongly encouraged to apply!
• Self-motivation and strong research skills.
• Time management skills and ability to build reports on tasks if requested.

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary is $17.00 hourly with potential for growth and ability to increase based on performance. We value your time and we see your effort!
• This is a full time position on site (not remote) in our Gaithersburg, Maryland warehouse.
• Hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
