Beckett Thermal Solutions is looking to fill a full-time, night shift Robotic Weld Technician for our North Ridgeville facility. The robotic weld technician is a production support position responsible for the operation and performance of robots, welders and associated auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robotic programs and welding processes which maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems.

• Train colleagues as required to install, use, or maintain robot systems.

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on robotic systems and components.

• Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.

• Provide technical support in developing and improving weld processes. (GMAW, GTAW, LBW, ERW and PAW)

• Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of plant floor welding equipment, including weld controls, welding robots and resistance welding machines.

• Provide support in the analysis and resolution of weld equipment failures.

• Setup and adjust tooling as needed to produce parts that meet print specifications.

• Provide general weld support to production floor.

• Setup and maintain inventory of spare parts and production supplies within areas of responsibility.

Continuous Improvement and Driven Results:

• Robot programs are well designed and documented.

• Robots perform work in a safe and efficient manner.

• Robots and associated equipment are properly maintained.

• Repairs are performed in a timely manner.

• Parameters and settings are well documented and audited regularly.

• Process produces parts that meet print specifications.

• Systems produce product within approved cycle times.
