Dahlonega Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting budgeted occupancy goals through planning, organizing, and implementing an effective external marketing strategy to create awareness and promote lead generation, and managing the internal sales cycle from inquiry through move in. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the industry, and a passion for helping others.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Manages CRM to properly nurture leads through a variety of methods, including phone calls, text, emails, in person appointments, virtual appointments, events and more to generate interest and provide information to prospects.
· Thoroughly documents all inquiries and follow-up activities with prospects in CRM.
· Coordinates entire sales cycle from inquiry through move-in process. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting and providing tours for prospective residents and processing residency agreements and move-in documents.
· Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and community staff.
· Coordinates paperwork and all requirements for move-in to Community and follows up with new residents to ensure satisfaction with new accommodations.
· Works with Resident Care Director to schedule assessment timely to ensure residents are appropriate for the level of care being provided prior to move-in.
· Follows up with Resident Care Director and Executive Director to review move-in checklist prior to resident moving in to ensure proper care is provided immediately upon move-in.
· Walks through rooms prior to resident move-in and works closely with the maintenance and housekeeping department to ensure the room is ready prior to move-in.
· Provides every department with We Have a New Neighbor form and works closely with every department to ensure that the entire move-in process for the resident is smooth and that all requirements are met prior to move-in.
· Prepares marketing reports as requested by Executive Director and VP of Sales & Marketing.
· Maintains White Board with current Hot Leads, room availability, census, occupancy, and scheduled move ins and move outs and provides information to team during stand up.
· Actively markets outside of the community each week to local businesses and referral sources through required KPIs for cold calls, scheduled appointments, and attending networking events.
· Create, promote, and maintain good public relations.
· Identify and establish an effective network of community and professional sources, to include but not limited to real estate agents, moving companies, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc., to provide resident referrals and develop relationships that provide on-going lead opportunities for the Community.
· Maintain a Target 20 outreach plan and updates quarterly.
· Attends Marketing and networking events externally.
· Develops and maintains positive working relationship with residents, family members, staff, management, and external contacts.
· Assists in developing and executing Sales and Marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure maximum census, including assisting with the development of the departmental advertising plan.
· Plans and coordinates special events targeting both prospects and professional referral sources.
· Identifies customer satisfaction issues, conducts appropriate research, and proposes action plan for resolution of problems.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of the community’s activities and services to represent and promote the Community to referral sources and prospects effectively and accurately.
· Maintain current knowledge of the local market trends and competitors to assist in developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies, including preparation of an in-depth competitive analysis quarterly.
· Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Communicate professionally and cooperate with the Executive Director, owners, management company, and all community personnel.
· Maintains confidentiality of resident and company records.
· Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding HIPPA and Residents' Rights.
· Follow and communicate company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Must read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively with Residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
· Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
· Previous experience in a healthcare-related community or equivalent, preferably assisted living.
· 2 years’ sales and marketing experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
· Computer literate with experience utilizing Office programs and CRM platforms.
· Have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.
· Must be able to pass basic physical examination including TB screening and Illicit drug Screening.
· Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
