Scenic Gifts and Souvenirs is a family owned and operated gift shop that sells items such as: Big Bear Apparel, Keychains, Knives & Swords, and plenty of fun items that you may not expect in an ordinary gift shop. We strive to be the best in customer service and pricing in order to maintain our large returning customer base. We also have programs such as our VIP Card & the Big Bear Family Club card that has over 60 businesses enlisted to assist in getting both locals and returning customers the best deals possible.

Requirements

• Holidays & weekends mandatory (thats when we make the money)
• Remain productive on your feet for 6 - 8 hours
• Operate within a team setting
• Knowledge of Big Bear (Where to eat / things to do)
• Vehicle (Preferably with 4x4 or chains)
• Basic math skills
• PoS / register experience (preferred but can be trained in store)
• Lift boxes up to 20 pounds.
• Search and find inventory in back stock
• Remain on a consistent schedule

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers
• Assist customers with items such as: knives, crosses, bear items, sweaters, and air soft guns.
• Stocking product
• Receiving / stowing product
• Dusting / vacuuming store
• Sterilizing store
• Taking out trash
• Merchandising product
• Watching for theft
• Run the register
• Balance cash drawers
• Opening or closing the store

We are looking to fill 1 - 2 positions immediately. Pay is based on performance and ranges from 15 - 18.00 an hour depending on your experience. Shifts typically are consistent unless another employee has a schedule change. 2 days off in a row. Bonuses are also available depending on store performance and how well the store is kept during your shifts.
