Symphony Strings Music Co. is a locally owned violin shop in west el paso . 'Violin Shop' means we specialize in orchestral bowed instruments in the Violin family. Within our shop, we carry instruments for purchase, rental instruments, repair services, accessories, and music, as well as, offer lessons.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and communication. The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building relationships with customers, and helping to increase sales. This position requires the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

NOTE: Ideal candidate should be available beginning June through October.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance in finding items they are looking for.
• Maintain a neat and organized store environment.
• Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Additional Requirements/Skills for this poistion should include:
▪ Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency
▪ Typing abilities with 45 wpm or more.
▪ Comfortable with Internet Navigating;
▪ Outgoing & Friendly personality
▪ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
▪ Reliable & Dependable
▪ Should have own transportation
▪ Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more
▪ Proficient in English (Speaking and Writing)
▪ Trustworthy, Reliable and dependable
▪ Ability to speak and write proficiently in Spanish a PLUS
▪ Willingness to learn new systems for scheduling, POS, rentals and more

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
