We're looking for an exceptional sales associate to join our team in Glen Mills. The ideal candidate will be excited to provide outstanding customer service, develop strong customer relationships, keep our showroom organized and provide back-office support for on-going projects and events.

This specific role will serve primarily to assist customers with gift purchases, help them to coordinate home décor items and serve as a sounding board for their design aspirations. The daily role will include all aspects of the store business, from customer service to basic administrative tasks. You will receive training on both our home décor and gift offerings, as well as an overview of our range of custom furniture and rug lines. Our goal is to provide each customer with a robust and well-rounded experience while in store and to educate our clients on the offerings and services available at our larger furniture and rug showroom in Wilmington, DE. Interest in the interior design field is a plus but not required!

Responsibilities
* Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner.

*Ring-up client purchases

*Provide customer service for clients including returns and addressing client concerns

* Keeping showroom stocked and well organized.

* Assist with store merchandise tagging as needed.

* Assist in merchandising the store in new and exciting ways.

*Assist in promoting and running in-store events.

*Assist customers with gift purchases and help them to coordinate home décor items.
* Build engaging relationships with regular and repeat customers.
* Consistently seek new industry and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer on our product lines

* Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible

* Specific sales training will be provided.

* Proven ability to manage projects and learn to master the tasks at hand

* Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
* Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about home décor and accessories

* Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
* Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Detail oriented data entry is paramount.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

* Experience with high-end clientele a plus

* Fashionable and professional appearance

*Interest in the interior design field is a plus

*Prior experience with store merchandising a plus

* Strong computer skills a must

Store Location

Glen Eagle Square Shopping Center – Glen Mills, PA

Store Hours

Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Schedule

Part-Time Positions available – ranging from just weekends to 25-30 hours per week

Some weekend availability required for all candidates

Compensation and Benefits
This is a an hourly-based position. Compensation starting at $16 per hour.
