The BFT Sales Associate (SA) is a key member of our Sales and Marketing team, working closely with our General Manager to meet or exceed studio revenue, retention and other business goals. Organized, methodical, positive and energized by building a thriving business and community, the SA will: drive to weekly activity metrics monthly membership sales targets, and co- lead activities in our well-proven sales and marketing process - including community outreach, in-studio lead generation and follow-up, and member referral programs. In achievement of your goals, SAs are supported by deep resources offered by the BFT Corporate support team, our business partners, and the studio owner.

As part of our team, the SA brings active and positive leadership to all aspects of the day-to-day interaction with members and prospects, helping GMs create a premier member experience with a warm, personal and easy check-in and customer experience, and supporting studio operations. Success metrics are clear and aligned with studio growth and profitability, including social media and other marketing activity targets, sales pipeline metrics, and member loyalty and referral measures.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Own and manage qualified membership leads to drive to weekly and monthly sales targets
  • Co- lead activities in our well-proven sales and marketing plan - including community outreach, in-studio lead generation and follow-up, and member referral programs
  • Organize and Manage the front desk operation, creating amazing first impressions in welcoming members and prospects to our studio, answering questions, listening for feedback.
  • Lead, with the support of the GM and studio owner, BFT - Rockridge's organic marketing activities to create a strong, engaging and effective social media presence to build our brand, increase our following, and drive leads and member engagement.
  • Assist the GM with operational tasks as needed and as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team
  • Passion for fitness and helping others achieve goals; strong desire to learn the $22 Billion high-growth boutique fitness industry
  • 2- year degree required; 4-year degree preferred, preferably in business or related field
  • Minimum of 1-year sales experience, recurring membership sales preferred. Prior sales fundamentals training required. Fitness sales experience a strong plus.
  • Well versed in Facebook and Instagram content creation, application usage, analytics.
  • Proficient with typical office computer systems and studio management software (CRM, POS etc.)
  • Nationally recognized PT certification a PLUS; Current CPR/AED certification preferred

Compensation and benefits:

  • Competitive hourly compensation - $18-$24 per hour
  • Flexible schedule, 20 hours per week
  • Monthly sales commissions, and eligibility for annual bonus based on individual and company goal achievement
