We are looking for part-time and full-time Sandwich Artists ($14-$17 per hour) for our team at Norfolk Naval Base. Previous experience in food service, especially Subway, is preferred, but not required. A typical day at Subway includes baking our delicious bread and cookies fresh each day, slicing vegetables, prepping proteins, keeping the restaurant looking spotless, and making every sandwich for every guest a work of art! We also prepare catering orders, pickup orders, and delivery orders.
A few characteristics we look for in our Sandwich Artists are reliability, friendliness, attention to detail and organization, good personal hygiene, and professionalism. You should also be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift and be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
We are looking for full-time positions in the evening shift (3pm to 9:30pm), and part-time positions in the day shift (9 or 10am to 2 or 3pm, weekdays). Weekend availability is a plus. Our entry-level Sandwich Artists typically earn $14-$17 per hour. Other benefits we offer (restrictions may apply) include:
