SAP Master Data Specialist

OBJECTIVE:

We have an exciting opportunity at ZWILLING, based in Pleasantville, New York, for an SAP Master Data Specialist. We are looking for a local candidate with flexible onsite presence (5 days/week) until Go Live. After Go Live, a hybrid work schedule can be followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven recent experience of 3 + years working with Materials, Customer and Vendor Master data in SAP
• Proven understanding of Materials Master Data required
• Knowledge of tools to do mass maintenance like MM60/MASS, LSMW, etc.
• Managed large volume of data
• SAP user experience from operational function (purchase, sales, logistics, controlling etc.) is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word is a must
• Analytically minded and methodical problem solver
• Must have led projects
• Demonstrated ability to complete goals with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong written and communication skills in English language
• Ability to thrive in a team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

COORDINATION

• Maintain and enhance Material, Customer and Vendor master data incl. pricing, BOMs, Routing etc. in SAP S4 Hana in close cooperation with functional departments

• Review Master Data objects for quality, completeness, and overall integrity of key data elements and provide remediation recommendations for data cleansing.
• Analyze, validate, and make necessary updates to bring standardization across Material, Customer and Vendor master data
• Review and report on Bill of Material (BOM) and Routing within SAP to ensure all data is accurate
• Review, prioritize, and validate mass change requests within the Material, Customer and Vendor master data
• Adherence to the company’s quality and regulatory compliance requirements
• Ensure that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with the established policies and procedures

SUPPORT

• Serve as a Support Desk team member providing Level 1 support for SAP Master Data problem resolution issues following documented procedures.
• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams, including other SAP Analysts and developers to address technical and process issues.
• Provide support to all master data related activities e.g. Data Loads using LSMW, Data Extracts, Master Data Mass Maintenance and other Mass Updates.

DEVELOPMENT

• Represent local business functional requirements within the global master data related organization, in role of "Local process owner MDM". Solve local adjustments in alignment with global structures.
• Input to continuous improvement in coordination with IT and global process owners
