Saturday and Sunday Night Line Haul Driver - Eau Claire, WI Job at Purple Mountain Solutions Inc
Part-time Weekend Evening Courier Driver/ Linehaul Driver needed at our Eau Claire location.
Schedule is Saturday & Sunday evenings beginning at between 6pm/8:00pm - 12:00am.
Our evening Linehaul Courier Driver drives a minivan, and transports all the daily route pick-ups form the day Drivers, inter-office company mail, and transports it to our Weston, WI office, you will meet up with the Milwaukee Linehaul Driver and exchange intercompany mail/packages, and then drive back to Eau Claire, WI nightly. This position is the life blood of this organization, keeping our operation moving and productive on a daily basis.
Daily schedule: This Driver leaves from the Eau Claire Hub with alll daily route pick-ups, heads to our Weston, WI office to pick-up their daily pick-ups, then heads back to Eau Claire to unload, tie out, end the night.
An ideal candidate likes to work in an environment that promotes autonomy and independence. The right candidate would be a seasoned Driver who likes the evening shift. This position is supported by 24/7 Dispatch support.
We need a safety-conscious driver who enjoys driving, is confident driving in winter conditions, and enjoys going new and different places.
Hourly wage starting at $16/hour. Weekend pay differential will apply.
We supply the vehicle, gas, and insurance. We perform a background check and motor vehicle record check. You must have a clean driving record.

? Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily linehaul route
? Complete daily pick up and delivery schedule in a timely manner
? Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
? Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily schedule
? Work directly with dispatch professionals for additional pick-ups as needed
? Evaluate traffic patterns, alternativeroutes, and weather conditions as needed.
