Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is creating and maintaining all client service schedules. The Scheduler will work with caregivers to staff initial schedules as well as make adjustments and fill open shifts as changes occur.
Description of Required Duties and Tasks:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Required
· Create and maintain client service schedules as provided by the plan of care.
· Schedule shifts according to client preferences and Caregiver availability.
· Create, maintain, and distribute Caregiver schedules.
· Work with Caregivers to fill open, last minute, and emergency shifts.
· Manage Caregivers’ requests for time off.
· Handle requests and questions from Caregivers before during or after shifts.
· Enter scheduling data into Company Management System.
· Maintain Caregiver data in Company Management System.
· Maintain Caregiver roster and update for availability.
· Effectively manage scheduling changes, adjustments, and terminations.
· Effectively match Caregivers and clients.
· Manage client information and updates.
· Manage Call-Offs and notify Caregivers.
· Caregiver introductions.
· Participate in on-call rotation.
· Provide fields visits, as needed and required.
· Answers phones in a timely manner using good customer service skills and judgement in the distribution of messages.
· Communicate information effectively to supervisor and others in a timely manner.
· Maintain proficiency with computer systems.
· Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, keeps current with payor sources changes/updates for payments.
· Assist with coordination of community resources in the referral process if needed.
· Maintain confidentiality of records, correspondence, etc.
· Attend meetings and in-services as requested.
· Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by the Company.
· Ensure protection of confidential information that is stored, handled, or maintained by following Company policies and procedures related to confidentiality and/or HIPAA regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $31,200.00 per year
