Do you have administrative experience in a production setting? Our client in Ruckersville, VA is looking to add a Scheduling/Planning Clerk to their team. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM and pay will start at $20/hour.

This position will schedule production orders by priority for the manufacturing departments to ensure on time-in full delivery to the customer. The candidate will collaborate with purchasing and production to ensure a smooth transition of orders to the floor without any inventory issues or production issues that may inhibit timely production orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule orders for production

• Update Sales Force with data sheets

• Validate Billing and Shipping information in Sales Force

• Update ERP spreadsheet with new orders

• File/Scan old sales orders

• Manage all parts orders

• Review open orders report to check for any unscheduled orders

• Review inventory levels and analyze to prevent shortages

• Develop relationships with the Sales Team and Customers

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain quality, and safety standards

• Must be advanced in computer usage

• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment

• Ability to prepare complex administrative paperwork

• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers

• Ability to perform basic mathematics

• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel

• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods

• Ability to understand the usage of spreadsheets

• Ability to analyze and condense data into a report

• Experience with ERP systems (JDE and Salesforce highly desired)

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment
