JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for scheduling team members for specific areas within a department. Maintains team member availability, time-off requests, and schedule changes. Supports management with team member tracking, attendance documentation, and file organization. Also assists management with administrative and clerical duties, as directed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete weekly schedule by balancing team member availability and time off requests with business needs. Utilize budgeted hours to staff locations at appropriate levels for the current season. Ensures that established Policies and Practices relating to scheduling and time cards are being followed, escalates issues as necessary.
  • Supports team members by fielding questions, processing schedule swaps, directing and on boarding new hires, scheduling classes and training opportunities. Provides balance information with respect to attendance credits, vacation, PTO, etc. Conducts regular walks throughout area of responsibility.
  • Maintains tracking for team member attendance by fielding call-ins, communicating team members arriving late and organizing documentation to be administered.
  • Analyzes, compiles, updates, and maintains data on spreadsheets and word documents. Prepares and distributes documents and reports daily. Refers data/information to the appropriate parties. Organize and file team member information.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive team member and/or company information on a daily basis.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

  • Responsible for scheduling and assisting in administrative responsibilities for a specific area in assigned department.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 year experience within the professional entertainment or theme park industry preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to type 30 words per minute and proficiency with MS Office programs.
