A viable high school principal candidate must have the ability to prepare and manage the school's budget; read, interpret and enforce State Board Rules and School Board policy; ability to enforce collective bargaining agreements; ability to use effective public relations skills; ability to analyze data; ability to use effective interview techniques, coaching procedures and evaluation procedures; ability to effectively use public speaking skills; ability to effectively use problem solving skills; knowledge of current educational trends and research; knowledge of Human Growth and Development; knowledge of group dynamics.

A qualified high school principal candidate must also demonstrate written and oral communication skills, plus skills in personnel management, interaction, and supervision techniques.

Principal Requirements:

• Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Certified as a School Principal by the State of Florida
• Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience
