Marinette School District is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a School Psychologist. The position will be responsible for assisting students by identifying and providing opportunities which can promote school related success and to facilitate the collaborative efforts of the school, parents and community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Masters Degree
• Valid WI certification as a School Psychologist
• Possess sound judgement and ability to work with various personality types

Salary:

• 202 day contract
• Annual compensation for attaining and maintaining National Board Certification

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate student assessments and integrate the assessment information into an accurate and useful picture of the student's functional ability.
• Provide formal assessment of a student's abilities, learning styles, achievement levels, emotional development and social skills, and effectively communicates the information.
• Increase achievement by assessing barriers to learning and determining the best instructional strategies to improve learning.
• Make recommendations for an education program tailored to the student's individual needs.
• Consult with teachers about the effects of various teaching techniques and methods of classroom management to assist teachers in understanding how students grow, learn and develop.
• Provide professional development for teachers, administrators and school boards.
• Provide leadership, direct services and coordination with necessary community services.
• Collect and analyze data related to school improvement, student outcomes and accountability requirements.
