DEPARTMENT MANAGER – MONROEVILLE PA

The Pool City seasonal department manager is a retail specialist who sells pool and spa retail products in an enjoyable atmosphere creating a leisure experience for families to enjoy their back-yard investment. This position is responsible for maximizing retail sales and driving the business by effectively assisting the General Manager in the supervision of seasonal team members and various functions within the retail division of the store. Support the retail performance to ensure it is meeting or exceeding customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of sales experience
• Ability to build rapport with customers and qualify their requirements
• Every customer is important to us so you must be friendly and love to help people.
• Understand customer engagement as it is related to sales
• Ability to consolidate the sale and walk the customer through every stage and close sales
• Strongly committed to hitting targets and exceeding goals
• Strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with computers
• Team player
• Have basic knowledge of business math and percentages
• Understand proper use of grammar and spelling for writing sales emails and system notes
• We sell some heavy stuff. The ability to be on your feet for 7-9 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds. Also, you must have the ability to move products upwards of 100 or more pounds with proper carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and other merchandise movement tools that are available in the stores.
• As a keyholder, you must be able to pass a background check
• Have at least a High School diploma or equivalent

COMPENSATION

• $15 Hourly, time and a half over 40 hours per week
• Commission and Sales Incentives

$800-$1100 a week
