Seasonal Scanning Clerk Job at Hogan - Hansen, P.C.
Job Summary:
The scanning clerk at Hogan-Hansen is responsible for turning paper documents into a digital copy using scanning equipment. Your day-to-day duties typically include managing and storing files on a computer, raising concerns and issues with the scanning equipment to technicians, and inspecting the quality of output regularly. You will also need to greet clients and answer phone calls as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the firm.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet clients and visitors
- Scanning documents into electronic format or filing paper documents into storage systems
- Entering data into computer databases and maintaining records of stored files
- Maintaining an inventory of paper stocks and supplies used for scanning
- Maintaining security of confidential information by following data security procedures
- Reviewing documents for scanning errors such as smudges or lines, and rescanning them if necessary
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with computer equipment and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
