Security Engineer – SOC3

We are currently looking for a Security Engineer – SOC3 to join our team. The purpose of this role is to perform specialty security role functions within the SOC, including Penetration Testing, Incident Response Handling, and Security Service Design.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with work from home flexibility. There is a requirement of 3 days per week in office, located at 3254 University Dr, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

Your day-to-day as Security Engineer – SOC3:

• Design and develop SOC operational processes
• Build new service offerings to offer to managed service clients
• Improve detections of new threats in alerting products
• Handle all security escalation needs both in configuration and alerts
• Manage end to end needs of incident response handling
• Provide alert tuning strategy and guidelines for new members
• Provide client consulting on security posture and future direction
• Engage other client teams to achieve security objectives
• Participate in additional managed service needs as requested
• Create and update documentation on alert processes
• Provide training to teams on service process and design

Your Skills and Experience:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Microsoft MS-500
• Microsoft SC-200
• Microsoft AZ-500
• Microsoft AZ-900
• 3+ years MSP Work experience
• 3+ years SOC Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/CS Program
• 1+ year(s) working in ServiceNow
• CompTIA Networking+
• CompTIA A+
• Other Security Certificates
