Security Officer Job at Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum high school graduate with prior hotel security experience or general security experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: To make continuous patrols of the hotel property ensuring the safety and security of the hotel, it’s guests, employees, and property.
DUTIES: Include, but are not limited to:
1. Serve as deterrent to crime and rule violations by making continuous patrols of the hotel property.
2. Provide guests with assistance in security and life safety matters.
3. Respond to all calls for service.
4. Patrol guest and employee areas, noting any problems or unusual activity.
5. Follow and enforce all security standard operating procedures.
6. Insure that any undesirable persons are effectively handled without interrupting the orderly flow of hotel operations.
7. Note any safety hazards and take appropriate measures to alleviate problems.
8. Serve as a fire watch and take necessary actions to guarantee the protection of property.
9. Assist the hotel during disasters or emergencies as described in department operating procedures.
10. Report any and all security breaches to the Director or Supervisor.
11. Write correct and concise security reports.
12. Perform safety and fire inspections as assigned.
13. Communicate with a 2 way radio.
14. Possess valid Indianastate drivers license to drive van as needed.
15. Perform any other duties as needed by management.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
