The OpportunityResponsible for the effective leadership of the Security Department on assigned shift.
What you get to do
- Maintain adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, training, scheduling, evaluating, and consistent coaching of Security Associates.
- Actively participate with Associates on assigned shift.
- Prepare and requests reports on incidents involving Guests, Associates, and/or property, as needed.
- Interact with Guests and Associates in a positive and professional manner.
- Responsible to ensure protection of all assets on casino property.
- Maintain working knowledge of Grand Casino’s facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise Guests and fellow Associates of the same.
- Understand Crisis Management Plan and COVID-19 Guidelines

What qualifies you
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years of experience in Loss Prevention, Security Management, Conservation Management, Gaming Regulatory Management, or Law Enforcement.
- Three (3) years Gaming experience preferred.
- Three (3) years Supervisory/Managerial experience required.
- One (1) year investigation experience preferred.
- Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
