We are looking for a passionate and energetic candidate to join our Team. This position is an integral member of Foxtrot Mike's Team and is responsible for inventory management, ERP, maintaining SOP information, presenting recommendations, and confirming SOP are being followed.

Duties: The Production Manager has 2 core responsibilities, inventory management, and assembly management. responsible for keeping product in stock at all times while minimizing days in inventory, and maximizing efficiency. The Production Manager is solely responsible for keeping product in stock at all times while minimizing days in inventory, and maximizing efficiency.

The Production Manager responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, to ensure that all materials are accurately reported in our inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous storage/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

The Production manager oversees the manufacturing process and ensures the assembly or production process adheres to policies and procedures. They are responsible for planning, discussing and completing reports about the production and the staff. In the assembly line, he/she ensures the staff follows company and government policies and procedures, while manufacturing quality products. Assembly managers inspect the work of staff and implements rules in the assembly line.

Working Environment:
This is a full-time, on-site position, working at our manufacturing facility in Boise Idaho.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Fishbowl software.
  • Strong ERP skills.
  • Very strong teamwork, communication, and people skills.
  • At least five years’ experience in assembly management.
  • Professional and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Well organized.
  • Experience negotiating and writing purchase agreements with payment terms.
  • Experience with RFQ’s (Request for Quotes).
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office, Word and Excel & Google Calendar

Responsibilities:

  • Experience using online database tools, specifically FishBowl software.
  • Experience performing data entry & database management.
  • Work with warehouse personnel and production supervisors to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations.
  • Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
  • Open containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
  • Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product left.
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision .
  • Monthly material/component inventory audit of physical inventory.
  • Support your direct report in established processes, and systems.
  • Support/drive the implementation of inventory best practices.
  • Support the company with inventory management, forecasting and control.
  • Coordinate with the Quality department to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure consistent communication with Production, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Develop and maintain positive vendor relations with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Establish and meet forecasts and schedules.
  • Improve/optimize workflows and processes.
  • Implement strategies to maintain continuous supply of materials.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time on occasion.
  • Ability to lift overhead and carry up to fifty pounds.
  • Ability to critically analyze data and opportunities, create financial reports.
  • May work irregular hours on occasion.
  • Comfortable working in a moderately noisy, open environment.
  • Manage the work order process, execution, and housekeeping.
  • Manage inventories by increasing turns and minimizing excess and obsolete materials.
  • Support on-time delivery and inventory goals.
  • Establish and hold suppliers accountable for performance.
  • Managing the assembly of products for shipment by coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies.
  • Training employees in proper assembly techniques and safety procedures.
  • Reviewing blueprints or other specifications to ensure that all parts are accounted for and ordered correctly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
