Entegee Technical is seeking a Thermal Engineer for a 12-month + contract role in Agoura Hills, CA

Job Description

The thermal engineer will work cross functionally to develop system and board level cooling solutions for automated test equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include performing airflow and thermal analysis on PC boards to evaluate critical heat sensitive components
• Design of appropriate heat-sink or cold plate solutions
• Design and execution of verification plans to ensure successful integration into the product.
• May be building mockups to use for wind-tunnel evaluation.
• May work with liquid piping, cooling, and pumping systems as well as sheet metal and machined part design.

Job Qualifications

• BSME and 5 to 10 years of experience
• Advanced degree is a plus
• Experience with printed circuit board tools such as CircuitWorks and Allegro
• Experience with board level thermal analysis using CFD tools such as Flotherm and SolidWorks Flow Simulation
• Experience with liquid delivery systems such as pumps, filters and piping
• Proficiency in Solidworks
