Job Description

We are seeking a mature individual with a positive attitude and good work ethic to assist the Packaging of high quality infused pre-rolls unique to the Massachusetts Cannabis Market. Leave the ego, attitude and drama at home and join a team that cares about what they do and each other. Cannabis production experience and Metrc required for this role. The Packaging Tech will have the opportunity to learn, lead and grow with all aspects of NEO Manufacturing's cannabis processing department.

Duties and responsibilities

• Packaging experience with cannabis products.
• Quality control experience evaluating quality checkpoints, time trials and efficiencies.
• Metrc compliance awareness.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and warehousing of manufactured products.
• Ensuring NEO Manufacturing products are produced in a safe and sanitary environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
• Work closely with Operations Manager to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement and ensure SOPs are followed in daily production processes
• Assist with improving efficiencies with processing, packaging, and warehousing.
• Participate and help provide feedback for NEO Manufacturing's R&D programs creating new and innovative products for development.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, experience producing pre-rolls for a cannabis manufacture and be somewhat mechanically inclined or at least not intimidated to learn and operate cannabis producing machinery. A high attention to detail, organization skills, and excellent communication skills to all parts of the organization. More specific qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum

· State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over.

• Inherently sound human resource values and problem resolution skills
• Effective communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Proven ability to work independently
• Experience with Metrc required

Physical requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift/carry product, totes and push/pull carts.
