Senior DC Manager
Summary / Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager of DC Operations will be the driving force of operational excellence and ultimately be responsible for implementing a sustainable continuous improvement model in the company’s distribution operations. The purpose of this role is to champion operational excellence by leading the transformation, education, and culture of excellence across all distribution functions.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Work with senior managers to develop and monitor performance metrics.
- Monitor and resolve all DC order and system discrepancies
- Influencing and supporting the lean transformation plans that will impact Key Performance Indicators resulting in positive contributions to revenue, lowering operating expenses and increasing the overall profitability of the Company.
- Assist with all technology needs of the distribution centers
- Leading/facilitating projects and/or events which address plant and efficiency opportunities, helping to drive improvements in all facets of the operations.
- In partnership with DC leadership team, accountable for tracking and displaying appropriate KPIs and operations metrics.
- Assist with onboarding of distribution team members
- Assure proper warehouse supplies are available in all departments within the DC.
- Provide backup support to the order management group.
Relationships (internal and external):
- Reporting directly to the VP of Operations (Leader is offsite)
- Member of the DC Leadership Team with interactions with peer Leaders across the Organization
- Member of the ERP Core Team with interactions with the BPO team
Qualifications & Experience
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must have previous experience in Distribution/Operations leadership
- Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience in progressively responsible roles and owned results.
- Lean experience desirable
- Proven ability to successfully manage cross functional teams, all levels of the organization and implement improvement within an established time frame, then sustain improvements.
- High energy, collaborative, data driven, and results focused.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and organization skills must be comfortable teaching and presenting to large groups at all levels of the organization from shop floor to CEO.
- Monthly/Annual enterprise results of identified Key Performance Indicators
- Monthly/Annual enterprise reduction in line-item level cost to serve
- Monthly/Annual enterprise improvements in quality performance
- Proven ability to work independently with site personnel, Experience managing and directing across departments (QC, Operations, Facilities, Training etc.)
- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and various analysis tools.
- ERP system: Infor CSD and TWL experience a plus
- Minimum 5 years working with a wireless warehouse management system
- Travel in position less than 20%

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
