Job Title: Senior EMR Analyst

Hours: M-F: 8am - 4:30pm; weekends and nights as needed

Locations: must be commutable to one of our on-site locations in FL, PA, NY, or NJ (see our locations: https://rothmanortho.com/locations/ )

Job Summary: The Senior EMR Analyst assists with the analysis, design, planning, evaluation, installation, documentation and education of specified EMR and Practice Management applications.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the development, modification and maintenance of assigned medical information systems.
• Assists in creating project work plan and ensures milestones and deliverables are achieved according to plan.
• Develops standards, policies and procedures and updates system documentation as needed.
• Ensures the completion and high quality of deliverables assigned to team including, but not limited to design documentation, built audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum and activation plans.
• Builds templates, documents and reports.
• Participates with the operations team in strategic design process to translate compliance, clinical, and business requirements into process and systems.
• Reports completion of work plans for outstanding work, issues and risks weekly to the project manager/director and CIO.
• Works with CBO to develop, Train and Implement RCM functionality within the Practice Management system.
• Trains staff, updates applications and resolves user problems.
• Trains staff and updates staff in meaningful use requirements as dictated by CMS policy.
• Posts go live - continues to maintain audits, upgrades and administration.
• Works with the vendor to continue research, evaluate and integrate new technology, methodologies, data administration, and capacity planning for EMR.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of EMR Analyst or EMR Administrator experience required
• Bachelor's Degree minimum education requirement; applicable experience or relevant certifications may be substituted for up to seven years of the education requirement.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks strongly preferred
• RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
• Ability to gather, interpret and analyze complex data
• Strong oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills
• Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects, as demonstrated by previous experience coordinating deadlines and deliverables with multiple stakeholders
