Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a productive, interactive and inviting environment which will enhance the end-user understanding of, and productivity in, critical in-house Vornado applications that are required to run the business
• Create detailed programming specifications with business objectives, and enough technical detail for product developers to program
• Communicate with senior management while running meetings
• Provide support for software rollouts and deployment project management / implementation.
• Provide subject matter support as a level 2 and level 3 support technician when needed
• Application training and support as required
• Develop informative, clear, and effective documentation for both technical specifications and end-user reference

Job Qualifications:

• Accounting and/or budgeting knowledge, degree / CPA (a plus)
• Data analytics and Excel proficiency
• Substantial knowledge of accounting / financial-based applications with

knowledge of any/most of the following applications:

• IBS Property Management Systems (huge plus)
• Argus Enterprise
• Leasing Toolkit
• Bizflow / other BPM software
• Angus / other tenant service request systems
• Oracle, SQL or other relational database applications (a plus)
• MS Office
• Box / other Cloud Storage
• Possess broad understanding of computer concepts and related business application needs
• Solid experience writing training and technical manuals
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to decipher complex issues into simplified communication
• Self-motivated and proactive with ability to continually enhance product documentation
• Knowledge of SOX compliance
• Possess an abundant willingness and ability to learn new applications thoroughly
• Possess excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area (IT, Accounting)
• 5-10 years’ experience in IT and accounting
• Strong MS Office Skills
• Software implementation experience (IBS / Accounting Software
• Experience with financial applications
• Meeting and Project Management expertise
