As a Paralegal you will be a key team member supporting the Corporate Development (M&A) Team.

If you are located in Minnetonka MN or Denver Co, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage process for the collection and production of documentation in connection with antitrust and other regulatory filings
• Assist with all phases of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence review, distribution of signature pages, and assistance with signings, closings and post-closing activities
• Review, negotiate, track and manage non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with targets
• Negotiate clean team agreements, non-reliance letters, regulatory filings and other ancillary transaction documents
• Coordinate and execute any document destruction requirements under NDA terms for transactions
• Work directly with attorneys to assist in drafting ancillary documents, creating presentations, and researching law
• Coordinate with Corporate Development and Legal teams on escrow related activities for past deals
• Partner with cross-functional internal subject matter experts, transaction team members, external counsel and accounting and financial advisors

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate
• 3+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, or complex government investigations paralegal, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with organizational skills and ability to coordinate projects
• Experience dealing with multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
• Experience working and communicating directly with attorneys and senior management
• SharePoint familiarity
• Willingness to learn on your own, take initiative, and manage an independent workload
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge of corporate governance and corporate law or complex government investigations

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
