The Senior Quality Engineer collaborates to achieve objectives across the Air Management Systems’ site ensuring a healthy product quality signature.

The Senior Quality Engineer is part of a best-in-class team working together towards one goal – being the best aerospace company in the world. The Quality Engineer thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is an essential Onsite position at the Windsor Locks, CT facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance to support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.

• Collaborate on investigations and analyze hardware/assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues.

• Determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

• Generate, maintain and provide quality metrics to the Air Management team and participate in the execution of quality improvement programs

• Establish and maintain customer relations for the different part families related to Air Management Systems.

• Serve as a liaison to the government and customer representatives for the quality discipline.

• Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience communicating metrics and trends to operation teams, management and leadership

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
