WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst. This role is part of the CIS Cyber Defense - Vulnerability Management Team, that participates in the attack surface reduction of global computing assets through the identification and assessment of vulnerabilities. This individual will be responsible for analysis of the data generated by the vulnerability management solutions, coordination with external partners regarding their patching program effectiveness and completion of day-to-day tasks associated with vulnerability management program.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
  • Review security vulnerabilities across a variety of technologies and environments to determine high risk vulnerabilities to business assets
  • Lead regular meetings with business partners to ensure remediation efforts adhere to corporate standards and policies
  • Provides analysis/validation of remediation actions taken, opportunities for improvement and out of the box thinking for optimizations and solving roadblocks
  • Maintain scanning enterprise infrastructure to perform reoccurring scanning activities of both corporate and cloud environments
  • Validate and confirm accuracy and scope of scanning infrastructure with other Technology teams through both manual and automated processes
  • Interface with other Corporate Information Security (CIS organizations such as Governance, Risk and Threat Intelligence to report on program status and coordinate risk tracking
  • Maintain and compose operational process documentation regarding program execution


WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role is part of the Attack Surface Management team within Corporate Information Security.


WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of IT professional experience
  • 3+ years of Cybersecurity experience with a concentration in vulnerability management
  • Understanding of a variety of technical concepts such as: Networking, systems administration, application development, and information security practices
  • Hands on experience with Vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys
  • Experience with data analytics with the ability to provide qualitative analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and/or project management skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with a variety of other enabling teams
  • Great attention to detail, data accuracy, and data analysis
  • Self-motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Intermediate to advance in a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, SQL, etc.)
  • Previous experience working in large scale environments with diverse technologies
  • Experience and knowledge of performing security tasks within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ability to automate technical tasks through use of API or scripting

  • Remote Work Option –open to remote work except cannot work in the following locations: SD,VT, and WV. These candidates will be required to relocate.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,500 in our lowest geographic market to $217,000 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience. Information about benefits
