Service Shop Technician III (Truck Maintenance)

As a Service Shop Technician III, you will provide preventative maintenance and repairs on all Walmart equipment. This means maintaining everything from tractors, trailers, road trucks and shop equipment. You will diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace major tractor advanced engine components, driveline components, advanced HVAC systems and communication equipment.

• You are easily adaptable to changing work demands.

• You can effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates.

• You are a power user with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software.

• You are experienced in tractor and trailer inspection and repair (electronic diagnostics, A/C troubleshooting).

• You’re a problem solver who tackles obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence.

You will make an impact by:

• Performing advanced axle alignments using electronic digital equipment on tractor-trailer tires

• Performing electrical/wiring repairs to tractor and trailer light assemblies.

• Repairing trailers, including lights, landing gear, interior panels, roof repairs, floors, doors, and threshold plates.

• Provide preventative maintenance on tractor-trailer brake system components.

• Performing 8-point inspections on yard and over-the-road tractors.
