Service Writer/Advisor Job at Big O Tires
Interact with customers of a busy tire and auto service operation.
Receive phone calls from customers and provide information over the phone regarding sales quotes.
Meet customers at shop and take down notes regarding their vehicle concerns. Inspect the vehicle to ensure accurate information is captured onto Point of Sales (POS) system.
Provide technicians with paperwork that comes from computer POS and describes work to be done as well as all concerns of the customer.
Research replacement part costs via supplier portals and call centers. Prepare a quote for the customer and discuss the quote as well as any and all concerns regarding a part being outside the manufacturers' specification. Prepare a subestimate / quote for customer and ensure customer understands the safety and other concerns and need for replacement.
Work with store manager and other staff to ensure compliance with store policies and rules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
