Product preparation such as shrink wrapping, bagging, building kits, building packs, and bundling products.

Perform spot-check inventory

Operate hand lift

Stock and restock inventory.

Perform general housekeeping.

Perform various warehouse functions.

Example of warehouse functions are:

RECEIVING

-Sort product

-Confirm received quantities.

-Report any discrepancies

-Update inventory in the system

-Barcode product

-Put products in bin location

For new products:

-Sort product

-Confirm received quantities.

-Report any discrepancies

-Create shell product in the system

-Update inventory

-Barcode product

-Stage product for the inventory management team.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

-Assign products to a bin location.

-Label all bin locations.

-Ensure products are in their assigned locations.

-Keep system used to track bin location current.

-Ensure excess inventory is in a designated location

-Ensure excess inventory is clearly labeled

-Ensure the system used to manage excess inventory is up to date.

-Keep physical inventory in line with system inventory

Order Fulfillment

Retrieve products using Pick List

Build orders using picked items.

Identify and manage no-stock items orders

Shrink wrap, seal, or box product as needed.

Stage fulfilled orders for shipping

Shipping

-Confirm orders are fulfilled accurately.

-Determine efficient packaging.
