We are actively seeking a Slitter Operator to join our team. If you are a Slitter Operator looking for a new opportunity with a leading packaging company, ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team!

Successful candidates will bring with them the following requirements and skills:

• Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong math, measurement and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor
• Must be able to work 12-hour schedule (2 day on, 2 day off, etc.)
• Must be able to work Overtime (up to 60 hours a week)
• Slitter Operators must be able to produce high quality rolls of film at the best possible rates with a minimum amount of scrap.
• DBH boards must be filled out every hour in detail for output, downtime, and scrap.
• Operators must run slitter as fast as possible, without sacrificing quality. Supervisors and Crew Leaders will determine maximum run rates.
• All scrap must be minimized by efficiently setting up the line, and keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Must be capable of planning for changeovers and setting up the next shift for such changeovers
• Must remain at assigned machine(s) and carefully monitor slitter and/or rewinder.
