Kennelwood Pet Resorts is looking for a Social Media and Community Coordinator to be a part of a growing industry leader pet care business. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a people person with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our communities. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brands and manage all community communications.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Primary duties and responsibilities is to serve as the point of contact for the online community for all of Kennelwood's business entities.
  • Develop a content marketing plan and editorial calendar.
  • Create engaging and shareable content for Facebook, Instagram and newsletters.
  • Provide community feedback to the management and agency team.
  • Plan and execute community initiatives and programs both online and offline.
  • Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Work alongside Marketing Director to develop and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
  • Monitor social media campaigns and analyze web traffic from the online community using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Coordination with Marketing and Agency teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.


Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a community manager (intern experience is welcome!)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
