Job Title: Social Media Content Creator and Editor

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Manager

Schedule: Part-time hours hybrid position 60% in office 40% remote.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Content Creator and Editor will play a key role in connecting with our target audience by creating and delivering engaging content through social media and email. They will do this by working closely with the marketing team to utilize written, video, and graphics to engage our direct sales consultants and help meet our marketing objectives.

Essential Functions:

• Create and manage social media and digital content for Thrive Life
• Work with marketing team to develop email content.
• Align with marketing team to create relevant content and maintain brand standards that connects with target audience.
• Create and maintain a social media content calendar.
• Create video, written, and some graphic content that engages our direct sales force as well as our customers.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with a direct sales company

• Proficient in Canva or similar content development programs.
• Skilled with image creation, visual storytelling, and maintaining brand standards.
• A knowledge of content creation with the ability to connect with our target audience through trending content and formats.
• Demonstrated experience in digital/social media utilizing both written and video content.
• Keen awareness of social media trends, technology, and best practices
• Comfortable multitasking various creative campaigns and projects
• Highly creative, collaborative, positive, and proactive
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to draft authentic and engaging copy across various platforms is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Typical of an office environment including sitting at a workstation for entire shift
• Extensive typing and computer use for entire shift.
• Additional hours setting up and preparing for corporate events.
• Able to lift 15 pounds.
