Releaf Dispensary is locally owned in Anchorage, AK, right by the Ted Stevens International Airport and the Minnesota Hwy exits. We are customer-centric, creative, fun, and it is our goal at Releaf to strive in providing our customers with finding the right products and have a great experience for RECREATIONAL and MEDICAL customers.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is knowledgeable and has experience in using social media platforms, networking, marketing, Weedmaps, and Leafly. Currently for 2 days per week with potential for increase in hours.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities will include assisting with designing, posting, networking, keep marketing websites updated, visiting centers and business, handing out flyers and business cards, and arranging gatherings for products, information, and purchases for those unable to travel to us (CBD products only).
• Provide information on various cannabis strains and products.
• Verify all ID's are government issued, unexpired, and the customer is 21 years of age or older.
• Comply with all Alaska Marijuana Regulations and Requirements.
• Operate a POS system.
• Frequent cash handling.
• Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.
• Restocking inventory.
• Answering phone calls.
• Production.

Qualifications:

• Alaska Marijuana Handler's Card: REQUIRED UPON HIRE
• Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler's Card: REQUIRED UPON HIRE
• Reliable Transportation: (Required)
• Network Marketing/Social Media use: 1 year (Preferred)
• Weedmaps and Leafly knowledge: (Preferred)
• Retail: 1 year (Required)
• Cash-handling: 1 year (Required)
• Budtending: Preferred, but not required
• Metrc Certification: Preferred, but not required.
• Greenbits software knowledge: Preferred, but not required.
• Other computer software skills: Preferred, but not required.
• Product knowledge is always a plus, whether from working in the industry or personal recreational use. We provide education and assistance with learning about hemp and cannabis.

Hours: Part-Time afternoon/evening shift

*Must have a current and valid Alaska Marijuana Handler's Permit and Food Handler's Permit at time of hire.
