SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about social media to join the City of Marinette as a Social Media Assistant. The primary purpose of this role is to raise visibility of the City of Marinette through social media platforms. The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for creating and scheduling posts, maintaining a content calendar, engaging with the community to share content and strategizing with the Marketing team on innovative ways to continuously grow our following.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; At least 1 year of marketing and/or social media experience required or related field; Maintain and possess a valid drivers license; Experience working with social media platforms is required; Digital marketing and graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop, Canva) a plus. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, email and web usage; Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Scale: $19.57/hr
Job Type: Part-Time, 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
